On Tuesday, July, 14, we headed north for Utah to attend Bonnie's family reunion. Bonnie, Dave, Jared, Stacy, Cheryl, Allie and Kara piled into Cheryl's Tahoe, which didn't leave much room for luggage so we had to pack "creatively." That night we stayed at Bonnie's cousin Ken's house in Las Vegas where we got to see Tiffany's new baby girl.
.
Wednesday we drove to Bonnie's Aunt Mary's house in Emigration Canyon. We went to lunch at
The Golden Coral with Bob, Mary and Bonnie's three other aunts and Uncle Randall. We went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house that afternoon. It was very beautiful and had the most amazing Chandelier in the Celestial room.
.
Thursday, we drove up to Rexburg Idaho to check out the BYU campus where Jared will be attending in September. We stayed with Seth and Linda Deming. Seth was a missionary in our ward about ten years ago and now works at the campus. One of the students there drove us around in a large golf cart and showed us where everything was located. Afterward, we had lunch at the cafeteria. The Rexburg Temple is adjacent to the campus and looks very similar to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple but is a lighter color. We went "downtown" and had ice cream at Dairy Queen. We then stopped by a park with a lake to let Allie feed the ducks then headed back to Seth's house.

Friday we drove to Cherry Hill campground and waterpark in Kaysville for the reunion. We had a good dinner and visited with relatives. That night we stayed with Bonnie's cousin Christine.

Saturday we spent the day at the water park. We spent most of the day in the Lazy River and at one point had about 30 people involved in a game of tag, much to the dismay of some of the other guests. That night Dave, Jared and Lance played a round of miniature golf and discovered that the abandoned course during the day was packed at night. The next day we made the long drive home.

Kara had an exhausting day.

Allie wasn't very happy when she woke from her nap.

It took a while to cheer Allie up.

What a fun trip! And Cheryl's girls are so cute. If you ever make it back to Kaysville again and need a place to crash, we have plenty of room and I love visitors from back home! We just live on the West side of the freeway a few miles from Cherry Hill.
