Last night we started driving to Phoenix Arizona for a wedding but we didn't quite make it. After getting gas in El Cajon we hopped on 8 east and drove about 10-15 minutes. At that point a large coyote bounded onto the freeway in front of us. Traffic was fairly light but there were still cars around us. I could tell by the look on the coyotes face that he knew he just made a huge mistake. Unfortunately, when he paused to think about it, he was in our lane and we had no time to avoid him and no where to go. The speed limit in that area is 70 mph and it happened so fast that I was able to slow down to about 68 mph. The impact jolted the car pretty good and the coyote went underneath on the left side. The front bumper was broken on that side and ended our trip because the left front fender was rubbing against the tire. We limped home at 45 mph and parked in the garage. That was a fast trip.

That front end is all one piece and will probably cost
2 million dollars to repair.
